Armando Castellano is a musician and bil<strong>in</strong>gual arts advocate resid<strong>in</strong>g the San Francisco Bay Area. As<br />

a teach<strong>in</strong>g artist, he has taught throughout the Bay area <strong>in</strong> both English and Spanish, from pre-school<br />

through college. As a French horn player he performs regularly <strong>in</strong> regional orchestras and spends much<br />

of his time perform<strong>in</strong>g chamber music with his ensemble, Qu<strong>in</strong>teto Lat<strong>in</strong>o, a w<strong>in</strong>d qu<strong>in</strong>tet that<br />

advocates for classical music by Lat<strong>in</strong> American and Lat<strong>in</strong>o composers through performance and<br />

education Through his family's foundation, the Castellano Family Foundation, he has worked with<br />

Lat<strong>in</strong>o organizations throughout the Bay Area deal<strong>in</strong>g with issues around education, family and the<br />

arts.<br />

Yolanda programs dance, music, and theater for MCA, with a focus on creative residencies and<br />

partnerships for presentations and tours, and directs MCA's Artists Up Close series of artist-centered<br />

talks, workshops, and residencies. She serves NPN as past regional desk, International Program<br />

curator, and is honored to be a partner-elected board member. She is a Paul Harris Fellow, Rotary<br />

International's award for humanitarian work, and Judge of Election for Cook County. She is program<br />

ponsultant for Creative Capital and panelist for USArtists International, Wallace A. Gerbode<br />

Foundation, and US/Japan Creative Artists Program among others. She is founder of the League of<br />

Chicago Theaters Access Committee and chairs the Council for Bodies of Work, a festival of disability<br />

arts & culture.<br />
