A found<strong>in</strong>g and current member of Alternate ROOTS, Kathie deNobriga served as ROOTS' executive<br />

director and plann<strong>in</strong>g/development director for ten years. Early careers <strong>in</strong>cluded theatre director,<br />

ensemble member, producer and presenter. She is now a consultant specializ<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> strategic plann<strong>in</strong>g,<br />

build<strong>in</strong>g organizational capacity, staff/board retreats and creative conflict engagement. Current clients<br />

<strong>in</strong>clude the GA Center for NonProfits, Appalshop and Omaha Theatre for Youth. She is also project<br />

manager for the Arts & Democracy Project. DeNobriga is Mayor of P<strong>in</strong>e Lake GA and is a certified<br />

mediator<br />

Lori Dillard Rech is the CEO for the Center for Emerg<strong>in</strong>g Visual Artists, a service organization which<br />

helps artists develop viable and susta<strong>in</strong>able careers, helps emerg<strong>in</strong>g artists reach new audiences, and<br />

promotes <strong>in</strong>terest and understand<strong>in</strong>g of visual art <strong>in</strong> the community. Lori has worked <strong>in</strong> the Museum<br />

and arts related field for 22 years, <strong>in</strong>clud<strong>in</strong>g the Pennsylvania Academy of F<strong>in</strong>e Arts, Wilm<strong>in</strong>gton Art<br />

Museum, and the <strong>National</strong> Museum of American Jewish History. In addition, she was the Executive<br />

Director of the Betsy Ross House and served as the President of the Independence Seaport Museum.<br />

She holds a BA degree <strong>in</strong> Art History with a m<strong>in</strong>or <strong>in</strong> Studio Arts from the University of Florida and a<br />

MA <strong>in</strong> Museum Studies from Syracuse University. Lori also is a Board member for two local<br />

non-profits.<br />
