Colette Fu is a <strong>Philadelphia</strong> based photographer and paper eng<strong>in</strong>eer with an MFA <strong>in</strong> photography from<br />

the Rochester Institute of Technology. She has created most of her work at artist residencies such as<br />

the Prov<strong>in</strong>cetown F<strong>in</strong>e Arts Work Center, Instituto Sacatar, Bemis Center, Visual Studies Workshop,<br />

Frans Masereel Centrum, and the Alden B. Dow Center for Creativity. Colette has received awards<br />

from Fulbright, the Independence Foundation, Sovereign Foundation, Pennsylvania Council on the<br />

Arts, Virg<strong>in</strong>ia Museum of F<strong>in</strong>e Arts, Virg<strong>in</strong>ia Commission for the Arts, En Foco, Photographer's<br />

Forum, Nikon and the Puff<strong>in</strong> Foundation. She has worked as a paper eng<strong>in</strong>eer<strong>in</strong>g consultant for stop<br />

animation commercials, freelances and teaches community workshops and pop-up courses<br />

<strong>in</strong>ternationally.<br />

Hello! I'm a writer, performer, curator, PhD student, and producer of performance events. In the South<br />

Bronx, I direct Pepatian and am project director for the Young Roots <strong>Performance</strong> Series at Hostos<br />

Center for the Arts and Culture (funded by Rockefeller Foundation NYC Cultural Innovation Fund).<br />

With other South Bronx venues (BAAD!, Hostos, Pregones Theater), we are organiz<strong>in</strong>g our third<br />

annual APAP@HOME adventure with guided tour, food and multiple artist showcases on Friday<br />

January 11, 2013 - you are very <strong>in</strong>vited!!! Other news: The Montreal Association of Arts Curators<br />

(MAAC) is sett<strong>in</strong>g up an <strong>in</strong>terest<strong>in</strong>g symposium <strong>in</strong> September 2013, "Envision<strong>in</strong>g the Practice:<br />

Montréal International Symposium on Curat<strong>in</strong>g the Perform<strong>in</strong>g Arts." I'll be able to tell you more <strong>in</strong><br />
