Al Justiniano is a filmmaker, playwright and theater artist affiliated with Teatro del Pueblo a Latino
professional theater in St. Paul, Minnesota. As a playwright, he has written series of 12 children plays,
musical plays and full-length stage play of which eight have been produced at Stepping Stone theater,
The Wellstone Center and Teatro del Pueblo. He is a working artist in addition to serving as producer
and artistic director at Teatro del Pueblo. He has studied and investigated the dynamics and art of
collaboration for the past 21 years. He has been the recipient of The Many Voices Fellowship at the
playwright Center in Minneapolis and Leadership in the Art award.
