Living Arts became the recipient of the first award in the state of Oklahoma from the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts and the National Performance Network. Recently the Living Arts board has increased the staff to 2 full time and contracted workers to 4 and has just started a retirement plan for the artistic director position. We have a wonderful 14,000 sq ft space for presentation and 6,000 sq ft for research/development & residency program. GEORGE LUGG REDCAT/Roy and Edna Disney, CalArts Theater Associate Director 631 W. 2nd Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012 phone 213-237-2814 fax 213-237-2811 george.lugg@calarts.edu George Lugg, associate director of the Roy and Edna Disney/CalArts Theater (REDCAT), has been working in the field of contemporary performance since 1991. At REDCAT he oversees the implementation of a diverse array of multidisciplinary programming, serves on the curatorial team for dance and theater, coordinates an ongoing series for new works and works-in-progress, and produces the annual New Original Works Festival. In addition to his work at REDCAT, he is currently lead program consultant in the performing arts for the Creative Capital Foundation (2011-2012), and a Hub Site Representative for the National Dance Project (2012-14). He has served as a member of the U.S. curatorial team for the National Performance Network's Performing Americas Program and numerous juries and panels. Susie is experienced in institutional development bringing a creative vision and a depth of experience with community-based culture. She has worked in community arts programs and taught in school and university classrooms in the Bay Area for the past fourteen years. Susie has worked with the Museum of Children's Art, Eastside Arts Alliance, Oakland Leaf, La Peña Cultural Center, and Youth Speaks, Inc. Her experience includes: grant writing and administration; program development and coordination; budget oversight; teaching and curriculum development; faculty professional development; and long term strategic planning.
