The group is committed to managing its impact on the environment and a full re-evaluation of this function is required to increase<br />

the focus and improvements required. Service providers are being engaged and we will be measuring our carbon footprint and<br />

implementing carbon reduction initiatives.<br />

ACHIEVEMENTS<br />

An overall decrease of 12.4% in energy consumption due in part to improved energy management systems and operational<br />

performance<br />

A reduction of 9.5% in water consumption which is attributed to savings at Windmill Casino (23%); Gaborone <strong>Sun</strong> (27%)<br />

and <strong>Sun</strong> City (17%) and improved measurement and monitoring practices group-wide<br />

Overall reductions of 33.8% in LP gas use<br />

A decrease of 22% in total diesel use across the group
