5. Select desired leads to view in the View ECG Setup menu within the Monitor Setup<br />
menu.<br />
6. To change sizes of displayed waveforms, go to the ECG Sizes Menu within the ECG<br />
menu.<br />
7. To remove the View 12 ECG Analysis Module, turn monitor off or go to the Functions<br />
menu and select “Disable 12 Lead ECG”, then use the Navigator Control knob to select<br />
“Yes”.<br />
CAUTION: Removal of the View 12 ECG Analysis Module without first<br />
disabling the 12-Lead ECG card may cause a temporary<br />
disruption in patient monitoring.<br />
3.4.5.1 12-lead ECG Analysis (Optional <strong>Passport</strong> 2)<br />
With a View 12 ECG Analysis Module installed and enabled, the <strong>Passport</strong> 2 is capable<br />
of providing ECG Analysis on printouts. To print this analysis, press the VIEW key (to view<br />
multiple ECG leads), then press STRIP. If all conditions for analysis have been met, the<br />
recorder will include it on the printed strip. The analysis will consist of an interpretive<br />
statement, a condition statement, and a rhythm statement as specified in the Physician’s<br />
Guide to Computerized ECG Analysis (<strong>Mindray</strong> DS P/N 0070-00-0524-01 English, 0070-<br />
00-0524-50 all other languages).<br />
The conditions for printing the ECG analysis are:<br />
1. The <strong>Passport</strong> 2 patient size must be set to “Adult”.<br />
2. The patient’s gender and date of birth must be entered via the Patient menu.<br />
3. The patient must be at least 18 years old. (The monitor calculates the patient age from<br />
the date of birth entered.<br />
WARNING: Computerized ECG Analysis should be reviewed by qualified<br />
medical personnel. It should not be used exclusively for<br />
treatment or non-treatment of patients.<br />
WARNING: ST segment measurements may be affected by one or more<br />
of the following ECG rhythm morphologies: wide complex<br />
QRS such as bundle branch blocks, ventricular pacemaker<br />
rhythm, left ventricular hypertrophy or Wolff-Parkinson-<br />
White Syndrome. Consult with qualified medical personnel<br />
prior to treatment or non-treatment.<br />
