along with the history of performing Chekhov. In theme section Part 1,
we introduce the history of Chekhov performances in the past; in Part 2,
we introduce the performance variety of Chekhov in current theatres:
each includes productions by ten artists.
In the Architecture section, we introduce the five productions which
include the first and subsequent prizes at the 1986 Architectural
Competition for the new National Theatre in Tokyo.
With this exhibition, we hope we can consistently introduce contemporary
theatre art activities in Japan.
