Depuis plus de 15 ans, PEtat s'associe contractuellement aux collectiyites
locales ou régionales pour financer la construction, parfois le
fonctionnement ďédifices culturels dans lesquels s'inscrivent des salles
de spectacle les mieux adaptées aux nouvelles tendances esthétiques et
a 1 extension croissante du public.
Dans ces réalisations, le role du conseiller technique des spectacles du
Mmistere de la Culture conforte celui, de plus en plus important des
mgemeurs scénographes sans lesquels beaucoup ďarchitectes ne pourraíent
pas repondre efficacement aux exigences de la diversité ďactivités
théátrales, etroitement liées a Paction culturelle generále
Comme á chaque Quadriennale de Prague, le Centre francais du Théátre
sassure la collaboration de 1'Association Frangaise des Scénographes
des Techmciens et des Architectes de Théátre (OISTAT) et bénéficie de
1'aide de 1'Association Frangaise ďAction Artistique.
The architecture exposition prepared by the French Th°atre Centre presents
the documentation of theatrical auditoriums; some of them were
opened not long ago and others are under construction and lastly some
are bemg projected approved by the appropriate administrativě authorities.
For more then fifteen years the statě has been signing contracts with local
or régional collectives about the financing of the building, eventually
about the managing of cultural centres, including theatrical auditoriums
i nese have to answer the new estetical trends and requirements of
increasing audiences.
Participating in the réalisation of these buildings are the stage designers
associated m a technical councelling organ at the Ministery of Culturewithout
them the architects could not míly react to the requirements
of theatre managment.
