departure is the concept that a scenographer in a theatre exists only
through his or her stage designs; they present their work as „small
stage designs", integrated into „the large stage design of the whole

They strive to come as close as possible to the visitor, nd him of passivity
and challenge his participation in the creative process. And finally
with the help of audiovisual media they want to inform the visitor of the
aim of each stage design, of art in action — the essence of the theatre.
