Een patiënt die een rectumcarcinoma ontwikkelt voor 45 jaar of die deel uitmaakt van een<br />

familie met colonadenomen, coloncarcinomen of geassocieerde tumoren moet ingelicht<br />

worden over een verhoogde incidentie – persoonlijk en familiaal – van deze tumoren.<br />

Aangepaste screening en zo nodig genetisch advies moeten aan patiënt en zijn familie worden<br />

aangeboden.<br />
