10.6.3 genetische screening / familiale antecedenten

Een patiënt die een rectumcarcinoma ontwikkelt voor 45 jaar of die deel uitmaakt van een
familie met colonadenomen, coloncarcinomen of geassocieerde tumoren moet ingelicht
worden over een verhoogde incidentie – persoonlijk en familiaal – van deze tumoren.
Aangepaste screening en zo nodig genetisch advies moeten aan patiënt en zijn familie worden
aangeboden.
