Exhibition Opening
On the occasion of the opening of the exhibition “The
Future of Living” at the designforum Wien, the Ambassador
of Slovenia, H.E. Ksenija Škrilec, held a short welcome
speech, pointing out the significance of Slovenian design.
Barbara Žvokelj, Permanent Representative of Slovenia
to the UN, OSCE and other international organizations in
Vienna and Koželj Podlogar, Cultural Attaché and Head
of SKICA were also present and admired the 43 different
objects which were all “made in Slovenia”.

Poland: After the Great War.
A New Europe 1918-1923
The First World War changed the face of the European
continent drastically: new states arose on the ruins of the
former ruling empires. After the opening of the outdoor
exhibition “After the Great War - A New Europe” at Heldenplatz
in Vienna, which was initiated by Rafał Rogulski,
Director of the Institute of the European Network Remembrance
and Solidarity and Monika Sommer, Director of the
House of Austrian History, H.E. Jolanta Róża Kozłowska,
Ambassador of Poland invited the guests to the Polish
Embassy for a dinner reception.
