Pincer grasping bilaterally is desirable with slight<br />

forward flexion or twisting whilst placing it onto the<br />

trays. Correct work practices would ensure avoiding<br />

overreaching by waiting for the tray to get closer to<br />

the operator.<br />

6 – CHECK MENUS AND SPECIAL DIETS AND PLACE LIDS (photograph 9)<br />

This is done by the operator at the end line of the service<br />

area who places the lids to cover the food and the drinks<br />

glasses onto the trays. This activity is later completed by<br />

placing the trays onto the trolleys. Note the lids placed<br />

on the trolleys located between head to waist height<br />

having to reach sideways on the left-hand side.<br />
