LAUNDRY ATTENDANTS<br />
Involves reaching slightly over head height and at times, significantly overhead height in one of the sections<br />
of the storage area. This task is attempted intermittently throughout the day. This also involves bagging and later<br />
registering uniforms, being seated in front of a keyboard workstation or writing data on a piece of paper.<br />
4 – MENDING / SEWING (photograph 6)<br />
Involves a short term activity whilst seated on a height<br />
adjustable chair, in front of a sewing machine located<br />
at elbow height. This activity demands gross and fine<br />
eye hand coordination, attempted for up to 15 minutes<br />
for mending uniforms.<br />
