On recognition of a failure 20 minutes or less after takeoff and in IFR weather<br />

condition proceed as follows:<br />

1. Upon reaching last assigned altitude proceed on course:<br />

2. Do not climb above last assigned altitude for 5 minutes after recognition of failure, then;<br />

3. Climb to flight planned altitude.<br />

If communications failure occurs more than 20 minutes after take-off, comply<br />

with the appropriate procedure for communication failure enroute.<br />
