grille from the fender fronts. There is a "V-8" monogram<br />

on the upper right side of the grille and a newly<br />

designed <strong>Cadillac</strong> crest at the top center.<br />

Headlamps are mounted to the fenders upon streamlined<br />

pillars carrying horizontal chrome mouldings<br />

which follow the curve of the streamlined nose.<br />

Side View<br />

Side View: From the side, the new <strong>Cadillac</strong> V-8<br />

portrays dignified symmetry with its rear quarter pillar<br />

inclined at an opposed angle to the windshield. A new<br />

belt moulding, extending from radiator grille to back of<br />

the body accentuates the appearance of length. The<br />

moulding is placed below the inset panels which completely<br />

surround all three side windows.<br />

Hood louvres are similar in novel treatment to those<br />

on the <strong>Cadillac</strong> Sixty providing a note of distinction<br />

on all <strong>Cadillac</strong>s.<br />

Running boards are separated from the fenders and<br />

are entirely rubber covered except for die-cast chromed<br />
