passenger motor car.<br />

Vision is by far the most noteworthy contribution to<br />

both greater comfort and safety. Glass area has been<br />

increased by 16%. Wider, higher windshield and higher<br />

windows have made this possible as a result of hypoid<br />

rear axles which permit lowered floors.<br />

The same soft, lustrous upholstery fabrics of last year<br />

are used, but new trimming styles provide the interior<br />

with fresh appearance. Piping across each seat back<br />

about one-third of the way from the top forms a large<br />

comfortable bolster roll above. Below the piping the<br />

seat back cushion is vertically pleated. Seat cushions<br />

are plain and have Marshall springs. An attractive door<br />

panel treatment consists of wide, flat welts arranged in<br />

a modern geometric pattern.<br />

Wide Front Compartment<br />

Despite lowered floors, there are no tunnels front or<br />

rear. The rear floor appears level, although actually it<br />

is slightly crowned. While other cars with low floors<br />
