Note also <strong>the</strong> appearance again of two <strong>new</strong> peaks in <strong>the</strong> IR signature of CO 2, which indicate<br />

<strong>the</strong> presence of <strong>new</strong> internal bonds not present in <strong>the</strong> conventional molecule. Note finally that<br />

<strong>the</strong> instrument now correctly identifies <strong>the</strong> signature as that of <strong>the</strong> CO 2.<br />

and atoms as constituents of magnecules readily explains this anomalous energy<br />

content because said dimers and atoms are released at <strong>the</strong> time of <strong>the</strong> combustion,
