STEPS TO TAKE
Louisiana Measure of Progress (LAMP)
1. List all the Desired Outcomes from the action plan in the appropriate column.
2. Determine the appropriate measure for each Desired Outcome (e.g., DIBELS, Read 180, EAGLE, suspension,
expulsion and attendance data, and family/community surveys).
3. Establish baselines, targets, and progress monitoring intervals for all measures.
4. Begin implementation of action plan with on‐going progress monitoring.
GUIDING QUESTIONS
1. What measures will be used to evaluate the effectiveness of the activities to produce the
identified Desired Outcomes in a timely manner?
2. Is a structure in place to provide frequent, on‐going data analysis?
3. Who will be responsible for administering the assessment, tracking data and presenting the
data on a regular basis to the SIT team for analysis?
Implementation Issues
An Implementation Issue is an obstacle to the progress of an activity identified by analysis of the data in
the Louisiana Measure of Progress (LAMP) that must be addressed for successful implementation of an
activity.
Examples:
• Less than 80% of the teachers are implementing the strategy.
• Time is not available for teachers to plan collaboratively.
• Materials are not available to effectively implement the strategy.

GUIDING QUESTIONS
1. What are the obstacles that might prohibit the activity from being implemented
successfully?
2. Have all stakeholders been involved in identifying obstacles?
3. What is the frequency in which the SIT team will monitor for implementation issues?
4. How were obstacles identified?
Resolutions
A Resolution is the result of the successful completion of adjustments in implementation.
