The principal task is to secure the integrity of the Czech Republic’s<br />

airspace. This mission is fulfilled within NATO Integrated<br />

Extended Air Defence System (NATINEADS) and,<br />

if necessary, by means of the Czech national reinforced air<br />

defence system. In addition, the Air Force provides close<br />

air support for the Army, and performs tasks associated<br />

with the transportation of troops and material.<br />
