The principal task is to secure the integrity of the Czech Republic’s
airspace. This mission is fulfilled within NATO Integrated
Extended Air Defence System (NATINEADS) and,
if necessary, by means of the Czech national reinforced air
defence system. In addition, the Air Force provides close
air support for the Army, and performs tasks associated
with the transportation of troops and material.
