29-4.F.these Regulations as enacted or amended, such lawful use may be continued so long as itremains otherwise lawful, subject to the following provisions:a. Any existing structure devoted to such nonconforming use shall not be enlarged,extended, constructed, reconstructed, moved, or structurally altered in a mannerwhich increases the nonconformity, except to change the use of the structure to ause permitted in the district in which it is located.b. Such non-conforming use of a structure may be extended throughout any partthereof which was manifestly arranged or designed for such use at the time ofadoption or amendment of these Regulations, but no such use shall be extended tooccupy any land outside the structure.c. A nonconforming use of a building or structure may be changed only to aconforming use.d. If such non-conforming use is superseded by a permitted use, it shall thereafterconform to the requirements of the district in which it is located, and the nonconforminguse shall not thereafter be resumed.6. Repairs and Maintenancea. Ordinary repairs may be made or remodeling done to any structure devoted inwhole or in part to a non-conforming use, provided that such work does not increasethe nonconformity.b. Nothing in these Regulations shall be deemed to prevent the strengthening orrestoring to a safe condition of any non-conforming structure or part thereofdeclared to be unsafe by any official charged with protecting the public safety, uponorder of such official.7. Uses Under Special Permit Provisions Not Non-Conforming Uses Any use which ispermitted by Special Permit in a district under the provisions of these Regulations shall notbe deemed a non-conforming use in such district, but shall without further action beconsidered a conforming use.65
