~ T W O H O U S I N G C O - O P E R A T I V E SMary’s Credit Union, Saskatoon Credit Union, and <strong>Co</strong>-operative Trust have agreed to providemortgages <strong>for</strong> co-op members who have rema<strong>in</strong>ed <strong>in</strong> good stand<strong>in</strong>g by consistently andpromptly mak<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong>ir mortgage payments. The family also has <strong>the</strong> option to leave <strong>the</strong> cooperativeat this po<strong>in</strong>t, but may stay <strong>for</strong> as long as <strong>the</strong>y like, whe<strong>the</strong>r or not <strong>the</strong>y assume <strong>the</strong>mortgage.SHC and <strong>the</strong> city also contribute $900 per home <strong>for</strong> renovations and a $2,000 emergencyrepair fund <strong>for</strong> <strong>the</strong> first three years. Each home-owner contributes $50 monthly to this fund,which is available <strong>for</strong> such th<strong>in</strong>gs as water heaters.
