The <strong>in</strong>troduction serves the purpose to set up term<strong>in</strong>ologies <strong>and</strong> <strong>in</strong>ventories of concepts that<br />

are expected to play a major role <strong>in</strong> the discussions <strong>in</strong> this workshop. Among them are:<br />

1. What modalities are we speak<strong>in</strong>g about <strong>in</strong> connection with aspect <strong>and</strong> tense<br />

2. Is there a plausibility about the l<strong>in</strong>k between (<strong>in</strong>)def<strong>in</strong>iteness <strong>and</strong> (im)perfectivity –<br />

mereological considerations.
