Article 10 SignsSection 10.07 Classification <strong>of</strong> Signslocated; except that where a complex <strong>of</strong> buildings is so constructedand maintained that the complex <strong>of</strong> buildings is an attached shoppingcomplex or an attached group <strong>of</strong> buildings, only one such sign ispermitted for each individual separate business building. Separatebusiness building will be construed to mean space allotted to theoperation <strong>of</strong> one firm, company, or incorporation having separateownership, or separate rental or lease. A pr<strong>of</strong>essional <strong>of</strong>fice buildingwithin such a complex if permitted within the zone underconsideration will not be considered as containing separate businessesfor this purpose, but may have only one such sign regardless <strong>of</strong> howmany firms, companies, or incorporations, have separate ownership,rental, or lease within the <strong>of</strong>fice building.E. Other Limitations1. May be neither flashing nor illuminated.2. May be illuminated, but only from a concealed light source.3. May not extend outward from the building wall more than 12inches except that if the sign is illuminated, the reflectors mayproject not more than 4 feet beyond the face <strong>of</strong> the sign.4. For the purpose <strong>of</strong> this section, awnings or canopies are definedas ro<strong>of</strong>-like coverings made <strong>of</strong> canvas, plastic, or similar flexiblematerials on a retractable or fixed frame.5. In the case <strong>of</strong> an internally illuminated awning, the entiresurface <strong>of</strong> the awning must be included in calculation <strong>of</strong> the signarea.6. For any awning sign, lettering or graphic elements must belocated only on that portion <strong>of</strong> the awning that is parallel to thebuilding facade.10.07.07 Class 7<strong>The</strong> following signs meeting the following specifications constitute Class 7 and maybe only business and identification signs, as defined herein:A. Structural TypePole sign or ground sign, single or double faced.B. Maximum Size <strong>of</strong> Single Sign60 square feet.C. Maximum Height Above Grade at Top <strong>of</strong> SignPole: 20 feet; ground: 10 feet.D. Limitation on Number <strong>of</strong> SignsOne sign may be erected for each street frontage <strong>of</strong> the lot or buildingsite on which the primary permitted use is located.E. Other Limitations1. Such sign may be neither flashing nor animated.2.
