The special purposezones of this article are zoning classifications that deal with fairly unique situations orhelp accomplish special zoning goals.Section 4.02 RP, Resource Protection Zone4.02.01 PurposeThe RP, Resource Protection zone is intended to protect natural resource areas.4.02.02 Permitted UsesThe following uses are permitted by right in the RP zone, subject to compliance withall other applicable standards of this zoning ordinance.A. Agricultural usesB. Publicly owned or operated parks and recreation areasC. Private recreational uses including golf courses, country clubs, andcamping areas that are not publicly owned or operated.4.02.03 Conditional UsesThe following uses may be allowed in the RP zone if reviewed and approved inaccordance with the Conditional Use procedures of Section 12.07.A. Riding academies and stablesB. The following uses are permitted provided that the development of allfacilities in or adjacent to navigable waters must be approved by theCorps of Engineers, Department of the Army, and the Division ofWater, Kentucky Department for Natural Resources andEnvironmental Protection, to the extent of their jurisdiction. Suchstatements of approval or denial must be submitted as part of theconditional use permit application:1. Boat harbors and marinas.
