Article 12 Review ProceduresSection 12.11 Building Permitsthe Board <strong>of</strong> Adjustment. In the case <strong>of</strong> demolitions, no zoning permitmay be issued unless the proposed use <strong>of</strong> the site after demolition is inconformity with the provisions <strong>of</strong> this zoning ordinance, except afterwritten orders from the Board <strong>of</strong> Adjustment.12.10.04 Expiration <strong>of</strong> <strong>Zoning</strong> PermitIf a building permit, as required herein, has not been obtained within 6 months <strong>of</strong>the date <strong>of</strong> issuance <strong>of</strong> zoning permit, the zoning permit will expire and be <strong>of</strong> n<strong>of</strong>urther effect. Once a zoning permit has expired, building permits may not beissued until a new zoning permit has been obtained.Section 12.11Building Permits12.11.01 ApplicabilityNo building or other structure may be erected, moved, added to, or structurallyaltered without a permit issued by the Building Inspector. No building permit maybe issued except in conformity with the provisions <strong>of</strong> this zoning ordinance, exceptafter written orders from the Board <strong>of</strong> Adjustment.12.11.02 ApplicationA. An application for a building permit must be filed by the owner <strong>of</strong> thesubject property or the property owner’s authorized agent.B. Applications must be filed with the Building Inspector.C. ContentsAll applications for building permits must be accompanied by:1. A complete application form provided by the Building Inspector;2. An approved zoning permit;3. <strong>The</strong> required fee for a building permit;4. Where required, 2 copies <strong>of</strong> site plan <strong>of</strong> the area at a scale nosmaller than one inch to 100 feet and bearing the seal <strong>of</strong> anarchitect or engineer registered in the Commonwealth <strong>of</strong><strong>Kentucky</strong> must be filed with the [Insert Official] setting forth,identifying and locating the following:(a) Total area in development project including legaldescription.(b) Present zoning <strong>of</strong> property in question and adjacentproperties.(c) All public and private right-<strong>of</strong>-way and easement lineslocated on adjacent to the properties which are proposed tobe continued, created, relocated, or abandoned.(d) Existing topography with a maximum <strong>of</strong> two foot contourintervals.
