923.2.7 Book review formatBook reviews are usually short and con<strong>de</strong>nsed texts (between 500 (C) and1,000 (E) words), appearing in a separate section at the end of journalissues, separate from the higher status section that inclu<strong>de</strong>s the researcharticles. In general, no gui<strong>de</strong>lines are provi<strong>de</strong>d. The safe way is to analyzetext format of previous editions.The editors were initially asked about the format of the information expected to befound in BR and all three said that the genre usually appears in the form of short texts.[E]I would find it difficult myself to write a book review much shorter than 900words.
