On the Form HESP 5 mark as a "Dwelling House" any bu.. Cin- in

wlhich people regularly sleep. This obviously will include
the family's main house, but possibly also smaller older
houses still being used, dormitories for teenagers, a-nd if "
someone regularly sleeps in the litchen, then that Chculd
be marked as a dwelling house. If the family is not around
when when you are performing your VI, this may be difficult
to determine, so you must use your best judgement. A.house
should be marked as "Unsatisfactory" if:­
13.4.3.2 Infestations
- The roof, thatched or iron sheets, appears to leak.
- I-Talls are seriously cracked or eroded.
- Walls need smearing.
- Khondes are seriously worn or eroded.
- Floor shows large cracks or serious irear (if you
are able to observe the floor).
As you perform the VI, you should take note o." Cwelling
houses showing evidence of infestations. This rxa be through
direct observation or through report by the occuant of the
house. Numerically, you will indicate only that -hoe is an
infestation, not the type of infestation. The tyrpo of
infestation should be recorded ot the back of the t"om IESP 5

As you proceed through the village, you shojld continually
keep note of the general cleanliness of the suxroundings.
At the end of the V1 you will make a judgement as to whether
