Nanoindenter measurements were carried out at positions 2 and
3 (cf. Table 11.3).
The former liquid phase is evenly distributed between the globulitic primary
phase, which is consistent with carbon and chromium contents measured along the
bar length by chemical pulping of respective samples (Figure 11.10). The solubility of
these constituents in the liquid phase is significantly higher than in the solid phase.
