Nanoindenter measurements were carried out at positions 2 and<br />

3 (cf. Table 11.3).<br />

The former liquid phase is evenly distributed between the globulitic primary<br />

phase, which is consistent with carbon and chromium contents measured along the<br />

bar length by chemical pulping of respective samples (Figure 11.10). The solubility of<br />

these constituents in the liquid phase is significantly higher than in the <strong>solid</strong> phase.<br />
