Somnoroase p≤s≤rele...
Somnoroase p≤s≤rele
Pe la cuiburi se adun≤,
Se ascund în r≤murele –
Noapte bun≤!
Doar izvoarele suspin≤,
Pe când codrul negru tace;
Dorm ∂i florile-n gr≤din≤ –
Dormi în pace!
Trece leb≤da pe ape
Între trestii s≤ se culce –
Fie-πi îngerii aproape,
Somnul dulce!
Peste-a nopπii feerie
Se ridic≤ mândra lun≤,
Totu-i vis ∂i armonie –
Noapte bun≤!
Sleepy birds
All those sleepy birds
Now tired from flight
Hide among the leaves
Good-night!
Only the spring whispers
When the wood sleeps silently;
Even flowers in the gardens
Sleep peacefully!
Swans glide to their nest
Sheltering among the reeds
May angels guard your rest,
Sweet dreams!
Above a night of sorcery
Comes the moon’s graceful light,
All is peace and harmony
Good-night!
Les petits oiseaux
Les petits oiseaux qui sommeillent
Rentrent tour à tour à leurs nids,
Se cachent sous les tendres feuilles –
Bonne nuit!
Il n’y a que la source qui se plaint,
Pendant que le noir bois se tait;
Même la fleur dort au jardin –
Dors en paix!
Et le cygne blanc comme neige
S’endort dans les roseaux qui veillent
Que tous les anges te protègent,
Doux sommeil!
Et la lune fière se lève
Sur la nocturne féerie,
Tout est pure harmonie et rêve –
Bonne nuit!
The lovers
A rain to break the asphalt,
we await a rain to avenge us –
overnight, on the streets, to burst forth
on the scorched grass
and for us to run through it, meeting cunning foxes,
insane.
May the doors bud, sprouting with new green:
In the morning, may people open the leafy window –
Amazed and joyful coming out into the street…
