eit fly teiknar bomullsstriper på himmelen over meg. Elles
grenda elles.
ringare at vi alltid kjenner oss velkomne.
Landet mitt, brukar eg seie, havet mitt, fjella mine. Det
kan ikkje bli annleis. For slik er det.
I know nothing that pulls me and takes me like the
ocean!
It is quiet up on “The Eagle’s Hammer” this day, Sunday
peace. Murmur from a car once in a while, happy
shouts from some kids bathing on the other side of the
lake, a plane makes stripes of cotton on the sky above
me. Else there are only the birds, and from the wood
the symphonic orchestra of all the insects, from the
good moody bass of the bumble-bee, which is humming
so slowly across the heather, to the high pitched treble
of an annoying midge, but most of all there is the peace,
relief for the soul it is to be here. And then, there are
the people – good people live here in Sagvika and the
neighbourhood. Every time we get here, they receive
us so well, friendly and helpfully. It does not make this
place poorer, that we always feel welcome.
My country, I use to say, my ocean, my mountains. It
cannot be different. Because, that is how it is.
montagnes. Il ne peut en être autrement. Car c’est ainsi
que sont les choses.
