5.6 Controls<br />
Checking the motor protection switches<br />
The motor protection switch must be set for the appropriate<br />
rated current of the pumps – as described<br />
in Section 3 of this manual.<br />
5.7 Completion of electrical work<br />
After all electrical connection work has been completed in the<br />
control unit, the control unit cover must be closed and properly<br />
secured. In order to eliminate odour nuisances in the<br />
area where the control unit is installed, the conduit pipe to the<br />
control unit should be sealed with a special gaskets or simply<br />
with insulation foam.<br />
5.8 Control unit configuration (Models Jan 2010 and newer)<br />
The DIP switches are in the upper right portion of the control unit and have been set at the factory. Due to the explosion<br />
proof rating antiblocking mechanism has been switched off (switch 4) and must not be activated!<br />

5.9 Control unit configuration (Models December 20<strong>09</strong> and older)<br />
The control unit configuration is set at the factory using switches S601 to S 604 which are between the levels switch connection<br />
jacks and the thermal protection inputs. These should be checked using the table below to make sure they are correct<br />
– the proper settings are marked in grey.<br />
– The four DIP switches (switch S604) are set at the factory and should not be changed.<br />
