8. Problems and Solutions<br />
8.2 Malfunction warnings / remedial actions (for models year January 2010 and newer)<br />
= on (lit) = off = blinking slowly = blinking fast<br />
Battery error / malfunction<br />
• Acknowledge alarm by pressing ‘Alarm’ button<br />
• Check if batteries are properly connected<br />
• Replace old or worn out batteries<br />
• Press the alarm button again<br />
--> Control unit will continue to function without batteries<br />
--> If batteries are not functioning no alarms will be displayed during a power outage<br />
Mains power supply malfunction<br />
• Check if power is being supplied to the room / circuit connected to pumpstation<br />
• Check fuse / ground fault indicator / residual current device<br />
• Check power supply cable for damage / malfunction<br />
• Check micro-fuse in control unit (only replace with fuse with same specifications)<br />
Motor malfunction<br />

• Cause: TF1, TF2, MSS<br />
Remedial actions:<br />
--> Check motor protection switch(s)<br />
Temperature error 1a/2a:<br />
--> Lower windings temperature switch has activated<br />
--> Motor will cool by itself but Alarm button must be pressed to acknowledge error<br />
Temperature error 1b/2b:<br />
--> Check pumps<br />
Maximum run time exceeded / maximum pumps starts exceeded<br />
• Max pump starts exceeded: one of the pump has started more than 20 times in 3 minutes<br />
--> Check float switches<br />
--> Check non-return flap<br />
Duo Pumpe 1<br />
• Max run time exceeded: pump has run longer than 240 minutes without stopping<br />
--> Check float switches<br />
--> Check non-return flap<br />
