9. Control unit<br />

Control unit<br />

• The control unit can be operated without needing to open<br />

the control unit cover. However, the cover can be opened<br />

for service work.<br />

• Opening the cover of the control unit reduces the IP 54 rating<br />

of the control unit. It should be checked if the risk is present<br />

that moisture or spraying water can access the open<br />

control unit. If this is the case power should be disconnected<br />

from the control unit before opening the cover. In case<br />

of any questions contact a licensed electrician.<br />

• The setting on the motor protection switch must match the<br />

power of the pumps in the Aqualift F unit.<br />

The motor protection switch setting should not be changed<br />

by the operator.<br />

• After settings have been successfully completed, make<br />

sure to close the control unit’s cover and secure properly<br />

which will assure the proper IP protection class that the control<br />

unit offers.<br />
