1959 : recru<strong>de</strong>scence <strong>de</strong> malformations congénitales à type <strong>de</strong><br />
phocomélie etc. ;<br />
1961 : caractère tératogène <strong>de</strong> <strong>la</strong> thalidomi<strong>de</strong> démontré retrait en<br />
Allemagne puis dans les autres pays ;<br />
1967 : mise en p<strong>la</strong>ce d’un système <strong>de</strong> détection d’EI par l’OMS ;<br />
1973 : mise en p<strong>la</strong>ce d’un système <strong>de</strong> détection d’EI en France.<br />
Actuellement : AMM en association au melpha<strong>la</strong>n et à <strong>la</strong> prednisone pour le traitement<br />
<strong>de</strong> 1ère ligne <strong>de</strong>s patients âgés <strong>de</strong> + <strong>de</strong> 65 ans présentant un myélome multiple non<br />
traité ou présentant une contre-indication à <strong>la</strong> chimiothérapie à haute dose. Prescrit et<br />
délivré conformément au programme <strong>de</strong> prévention <strong>de</strong>s grossesses.<br />
