Import <strong>of</strong> Jute CBC takes place mainly from Bangladesh. Around 60% <strong>of</strong> the imports <strong>of</strong> synthetic<br />

CBC are from Germany while the balance from Belgium and Saudi.<br />

India has very low export <strong>of</strong> jute CBC as compared to Bangladesh which has the highest share in the<br />

export market. Exports <strong>of</strong> synthetic CBC are mainly to USA. These exports are estimated to be the<br />

same at Rs 1.5 crore for the year 2012-13.
