Hydraulic Roller <strong>Cams</strong><br />

<strong>Crane</strong> Hydraulic Roller cams offer the sizeable<br />

power and torque increases that are available<br />

only with roller cams, plus the low-maintenance<br />

convenience of a hydraulic<br />

cam. Hydraulic Roller cams are available for<br />

retrofit (converting earlier non-hydraulic roller<br />

cam engines), and to increase power output of<br />

engines already equipped with hydraulic roller<br />

cams. <strong>Crane</strong> Hydraulic Roller cams are produced<br />

using our own industry standard, steel<br />

billet cam cores, carburized or induction-hardened<br />

for strength and wear resistance.<br />

Hydraulic Roller cams are available as catalogued<br />

plus custom grind lobe availability.<br />

Street-Roller Mechanical Roller <strong>Cams</strong><br />

Street-Roller cams are available in a variety of<br />

profiles, ground on our famous steel billet cam<br />

cores and fitted with iron distributor drive<br />

gears (where applicable). Street-Roller cam<br />

lobe profiles feature exclusive lobe ramp<br />

designs that minimize valve train noise and<br />

increase valve train durability for street driving<br />

engine applications. Street-Roller profiles are<br />

also available for nitrous-oxide systems, superchargers,<br />

and turbochargers, offering even<br />

greater horsepower and torque output for<br />

these power enhancing systems.<br />

Saturday Night Special TM <strong>Cams</strong> For<br />

Circle Track And Drag Racing<br />

<strong>Crane</strong> Saturday Night Specials are hydraulic<br />

and mechanical lifter cam, lifter, and valve<br />

spring kits, primarily developed for rules-limited<br />

oval track racing and ET-Bracket drag racing<br />

applications. For oval track racing they<br />

produce maximum off-the-corner torque, with<br />

strong upper-rpm horsepower to pull the<br />

straightaways. For drag racing they produce<br />

maximum torque, for starting line launch and<br />

the upper rpm power to pull through the<br />

gears. Saturday Night Special cams are available<br />

for Small-block and Big-block Chevy;<br />

289-302-351W Ford; and 429-460 Ford V-8’s.<br />
