Hydraulic Roller <strong>Cams</strong>hafts<br />

For low-end and mid-range performance in 87-92 cars<br />

and light trucks. Fine w/auto or manual and stock rear<br />

gears, great for 305 requiring extra low-end torque to<br />

cruise below 1800 RPM, ideal forTBI engines w/auto<br />

trans and stock converter. (50 state legal for listed applications,<br />

C.A.R.B. E.O. D-225-22).<br />

Designed forTPI 305 engines in 87-89 Camaros and<br />

Firebirds w/auto trans. Good all-around performance.<br />

The use of Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator (99470-1)<br />

is recommended for maximum performance. (50 state<br />

legal for listed applications, C.A.R.B. E.O. D-225-22).<br />

For mid and top end torque and HP. Mainly for 87-92<br />

305 cars w/TBI and manual 4 or 5-speed. (50 state<br />

legal for listed applications, C.A.R.B. E.O. D-225-22).<br />

Builds mid and upper RPM performance in 87TPI<br />

engines with 5-speed transmission and all rear gear<br />

ratios. Also fits 88-89 305 engines w/5-speed and 2.73 or<br />

3.27 rear gears for mid-range performance. Adjustable<br />

Fuel Pressure Regulator (99470-1) recommended for<br />

maximum performance. (50 state legal for listed applications,<br />

C.A.R.B. E.O. D-225-22).<br />

For mid & upper RPM performance in 88-89 305 engines<br />

w/5-speed and 3.45 or numerically higher rear gear<br />

ratios. Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator (99470-1) is<br />

recommended for maximum performance. (50 state<br />

legal for listed applications, C.A.R.B. E.O. D-225-22).<br />

For 87-89 Corvettes, Camaros and Firebirds factory<br />

equipped w/350TPI engines. Adjustable Fuel Pressure<br />

Regulator (99470-1) is recommended for maximum<br />

performance. (50 state legal for listed applications,<br />

C.A.R.B. E.O. D-225-22).<br />

<strong>Cams</strong>haft Series/<br />

Grind Number<br />

RPM range shown is for average usage. These cam profiles<br />

will RPM higher, depending upon application.<br />

IMPORTANT NOTE: <strong>Crane</strong> Hydraulic Roller <strong>Cams</strong> offer tremendous<br />

power, torque and RPM potential. Due to their RPM capability<br />

and increased valve travel, it is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED<br />

that the appropriate <strong>Crane</strong> valve train components be<br />

installed for maximum performance and reliability.<br />

NOTE: The camshafts listed above incorporate the front ignition<br />

drive pilot hole for late model applications. A long cam<br />

dowel pin is installed, which can be driven in further when<br />

required for short dowel pin application engines.<br />

NOTE: 1988-99 Chevrolet 305 and 350V-8 engines (and some 1987<br />

350V-8 engines) use a different configuration camshaft core<br />

than the 57-87 engines and cannot be interchanged.<br />

Since 1975, General Motors divisions have exchanged engines<br />

throughout different models. Be certain of exactly which<br />

engine you have before ordering.
