The SLOOC sent its working-level officials<br />
to Greece in August 1987 and<br />
July 1988 to discuss and prepare<br />
details of the torch relay in accordance<br />
with the agreement.<br />
Under the agreement<br />
The HOC:<br />
• Sent the basic plan for the torch relay to<br />
the SLOOC on September 30, 1987.<br />
• Selected two permanent HOC representatives<br />
on October 1, 1987.<br />
• Sent to the SLOOC, on April 28, 1988, the<br />
list of people to be invited to the torch<br />
relay and their resumes; the plans for the<br />
receptions it would host; and the list of<br />
torchbearers.<br />
The SLOOC:<br />
• Conducted a rehearsal for the flame lighting<br />
on August 23, 1987.<br />
• Approved the HOC plan for the torch<br />
relay in Greece and sent to the HOC its<br />
plan for the torch relay in Korea on<br />
December 1, 1987.<br />
• Informed the list of the members of the<br />
SLOOC delegation and remitted the<br />
expenses to the HOC on June 1, 1988.<br />
• Sent the equipment and logistics needed<br />
for the torch relay to the HOC on July 20,<br />
1988.<br />
