Table (7) shows that the flowers in the five
stages did not record any significant differences
in the amount of loss in terms of total dry
weight.
The results of the interaction between the
stages of flowers cutting and how to pick them
showed that the lowest values for the weight loss
amounted to 13.89, 14.07 and 14.23 grams
opening sepals stage, on opening petals stage
and semi opening petals stage when flowers cut
under water directly, these values were increased
and reached (31.58, 24.44, 21. 52) grams for the
three stages, respectively when flowers picked
and placed in water after 10 minutes. In general,
picking flowers under the water reduced the loss
in dry weight of flowers during the old as the
coordinating lower values recorded for the loss
of weight.

DISCUSSION
The results in table (1) indicate that picking
flowers at non opening sepals’ stage was the best
period for cutting as compared with other
periods. The average percentage emergence of
anther explained on the basis that after picking
the flowers, processing the outputs of
photosynthesis is stopped or limited by the
limited quantity manufactured total vegetation
harvested with flowers, and this may result in the
failure of flower buds to open (Van der Meulen-
Muisers et al., 2001). As to the effect of the
method of cutting which has the same scale as
the results indicated that the cutting under water
directly was better than other transactions, it is
known that after flowers picking, it excluded
from the main source of water uptake of roots,
