<strong>Argonaut</strong> SHORT Sample Format<br />

• When SHORT data format is used, the data output contains 14 columns. The following table<br />

shows the contents and units used with each column.<br />

• For the SHORT data format, reported signal strength is the mean of all working beams<br />

(three beams for <strong>Argonaut</strong> <strong>XR</strong> and MD; two beams for <strong>Argonaut</strong> SL).<br />

• Reported standard deviation is the defined based on the coordinate system:<br />

Beam Coordinates σV = √(σV1 2 + σV2 2 + σV3 2 )<br />

XYZ Coordinates σV = √(σVx 2 + σVy 2 )<br />

ENU Coordinate σV = √(σVE 2 + σVN 2 )<br />
