Lieut. William Haset and his Men.<br />

TT^ILLIAM HASEY, Boston, as early as 1652, lived at " Pul-<br />

M l<strong>in</strong>g Po<strong>in</strong>t;" after<strong>war</strong>ds a large land-owner at Kumney-<br />

Marsh ; Artillery Company, 1652; freeman (Hazzey), 1665. By<br />

wife Sarah had William, born Sept. 15, 1652. Asa, born January<br />

1, 1655. Joseph, May 29, 1657. Susanna, May 30, 1660.<br />

Martha, bapt. April 24, 1665.<br />

Cornet William Hasey (or Haisy), May 27, 1674, was appo<strong>in</strong>ted<br />

Lieutenant <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> " Three County Troop "'* <strong>of</strong> which Ed<strong>war</strong>d Hutch<strong>in</strong>son<br />

was Capta<strong>in</strong> and Jonathan Poole was made at same time<br />

Cornet ; <strong>in</strong> <strong>Philip's</strong> <strong>war</strong> commanded a company <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> summer <strong>of</strong><br />

1675. I f<strong>in</strong>d no connection between this family and William Hearsy<br />

<strong>of</strong> H<strong>in</strong>gham.*<br />

William <strong>the</strong> son married Judith and had William, born December<br />

21, 1679, and died June 7th, 1695, aged 43, leav<strong>in</strong>g widow<br />

Judith, who died November 17, 1718, aged 68 years. Jacob,<br />

born August 26, 1684. Nathaniel, March 13, 1693. Judith, Abigail,<br />

Martha.<br />
