upon <strong>the</strong> 5 th day curr 4 <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> night next morn<strong>in</strong>g we designed y e send<strong>in</strong>g<br />

y m all up as soone as y e tide would p'mit, & had ordered all to y* end but<br />

upon y e sight <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong>ire enemies burn<strong>in</strong>g <strong>of</strong> y l house w ch <strong>the</strong>y had fortified &<br />

<strong>of</strong> my barne <strong>of</strong> corne which was left unburnt <strong>the</strong>re w th advice <strong>of</strong> Cap ne<br />
