Accessing Content History<br />

Past versions of published content are available unless your<br />

system administrator purged them. Your ability to view a content<br />

item’s history is determined by your user privileges.<br />

After viewing a previous versions of content, you can replace the<br />

current version with any previous version.<br />

This section explains how to view and possibly restore older versions of content.<br />

To see a change-by-change comparison of two content items, use the View<br />

Content Difference feature, explained in ”Comparing Versions of Content” on<br />

page 98.<br />

The Purge History feature deletes historical versions of content according to userdefined<br />

criteria. Therefore, some previous versions may be unavailable. See Also:<br />

By default, all users can view the history of <strong>Ektron</strong> <strong>CMS400.NET</strong><br />

content. You can access content history from two places:<br />
