For example, if you want to provide several versions of a single<br />

page that change depending on the language selected by the user,<br />

see ”Creating a Language-Specific Collection if Another Edition<br />

Exists” on page 441.<br />

On the other hand, if you are creating a collection to appear only<br />

on a foreign language page, and no other edition of the collection<br />

will appear on your site, see ”Creating a Language-Specific<br />

Collection if Another Edition Does Not Exist” on page 441.<br />

You can only add content in the language of a collection. So,<br />

create the content first, then create the collection that links to them.<br />

Creating a Language-Specific Collection if Another Edition<br />

Exists<br />

1. Click the content folder in which your collection exists. The<br />

folder’s contents are displayed.<br />

2. Click View > Collection.<br />

3. The View Collections screen is displayed.<br />

4. Select the collection that you want to translate.<br />

5. From the Add drop-down list, select the language of the new<br />

collection.<br />

6. Using the Add button ( ), select the content to add to the<br />

collection. Navigate through the folders to the content you want<br />

to add. You can only add content in the selected language.<br />

Creating a Language-Specific Collection if Another Edition<br />

Does Not Exist<br />

1. Navigate to the folder in which you will create the collection.<br />

2. Click View > Collections. The View Collections screen is<br />

displayed.<br />

3. Click the Add button ( ) and enter basic information about<br />

the collection. (This screen is described in ”Creating a<br />

Collection” on page 430.)<br />
