Viewing a Folder<br />

4. A menu of options available for that content item appears. For<br />

example, if you have permission to edit it, Edit appears on the<br />

dropdown menu.<br />

Approve Approve content that has been submitted for<br />

Check in Change status of selected content to checked in.<br />

Might use if you checked out and saved a<br />

document then it became lost or corrupted.<br />

This option changes original document’s status to<br />

checked in. However, it does not replace the<br />

version of the file in <strong>Ektron</strong> <strong>CMS400.NET</strong>. To<br />

replace content that was checked out and edited,<br />

drag and drop it into <strong>Ektron</strong> <strong>CMS400.NET</strong>. See<br />

Note: Previous <strong>Ektron</strong> <strong>CMS400.NET</strong> releases<br />

included a Work Offline option, whose Check In<br />

function replaced the version of the file in <strong>Ektron</strong><br />

<strong>CMS400.NET</strong>. In contrast, this release’s Check In<br />

function only changes the content’s status.<br />

Change a content item’s status to checked out and<br />

save it to your local computer. When you finish<br />

editing the item, drag and drop it into <strong>Ektron</strong><br />

<strong>CMS400.NET</strong>.<br />
