Deleting a Cell<br />

Working with Table Cells<br />

1. Place the cursor in the cell whose height or width you want to<br />

set.<br />

2. Right click the mouse.<br />

3. Click Set Cell Properties from the menu.<br />

4. Click Cell Properties from the menu.<br />

5. The Cell Properties dialog appears.<br />

6. Enter the cell width and height in the fields circled above. You<br />

can enter the width in pixels or percentage. These choices are<br />

explained in “Specifying Table Width” on page 540.<br />

7. Click Update.<br />

To delete one or more cells, follow these steps.<br />

1. Move the cursor to the cell you want to delete.<br />

2. Right click the mouse.<br />

3. Click Delete Cell from the menu.<br />

Cells to the right of the deleted cell shift left to occupy the vacant<br />

space. In this example, the cursor was in cell “b” when the user<br />

clicked on Delete Cells.<br />
