Task View Options<br />

Managing Tasks<br />

1. From the Smart Desktop, select the Tasks folder. See Also:<br />

”Understanding the Smart Desktop” on page 17<br />

2. Click the task you want to view.<br />

3. The View Task screen is displayed. From here, you can<br />

perform these tasks.<br />

• ”Editing a Task” on page 305<br />

• ”Deleting a Task” on page 309<br />

• ”Adding Comments to Tasks” on page 306<br />

Beneath the main task module folder, several view screens display<br />

all tasks filtered by specified categories. After viewing tasks in any<br />

category, most screens let you perform an action on the tasks (the<br />

actions are included in the table below). For example, you can<br />

change a tasks state to another state. To select all tasks on a<br />

screen, click the check box in the header row (illustrated below).<br />

Tasks All tasks assigned to you, that are in one<br />

of the following states.<br />

• not started<br />

• active<br />

• awaiting data<br />

• on hold<br />

• reopened<br />

• pending<br />

• Click on task to view it<br />

• Add a task<br />

• Sort tasks by Task Type<br />

• Sort tasks by column<br />
