Viewing and Restoring Previous Content<br />

After viewing a version of content, you can perform these<br />

actions on it.<br />

The ability to restore content is a privilege granted by the system administrator. If<br />

you do not see a Restore button ( ) on the View Content History screen, you<br />

do not have permission to do so.<br />

1. Open the content folder that contains the content.<br />

2. Click the content item.<br />

3. Click the History toolbar button ( ).<br />

4. Select an historical version of the content that you want to<br />

restore.<br />

5. Click the Restore button ( ).<br />

6. The content history window closes, and you return to the View<br />

Content page or the Web page, with the content in a checked<br />

in status.<br />

7. If desired, check out the content to make additional changes.<br />

8. Select the workflow to perform on the content.<br />

9. When the historical version is placed in the approval chain and<br />

approved, it is published to the Web site.<br />
