Editing a Form’s Content<br />

3. The Edit Form screen is displayed. The screen is the same as<br />

the Add New Form screen. For documentation of individual<br />

fields, see ”Creating a New Form” on page 159.<br />

4. Make the necessary changes to the form.<br />

5. Click the Save button ( ).<br />

You can edit the content associated with the form by a variety of<br />

methods, including:<br />

• Accessing the content by the floating toolbar on the Web page<br />

• Editing the content by the View Form screen<br />

• Accessing the content by the View Form content properties<br />

screen<br />

This section explains how to edit a form’s content from the View<br />

Form screen. To edit a form’s content, follow these steps.<br />

1. Access the View Form screen for the content, as described in<br />

”Viewing a Form’s Information” on page 204.<br />

2. Click the Edit Content button ( ).<br />

3. The Edit Content screen appears.<br />

4. Make the necessary changes to the form’s content.<br />

5. If needed, click the Postback Message, Metadata, Schedule,<br />

Comment or Web Alerts tab to edit that information.<br />

6. Click a workflow button (Submit for Publication or Publish).<br />

The Forms feature lets you create a mailto or a database form to<br />

use on your Web site. When creating or editing a form, you must<br />

specify the type of form you are creating. The options are:<br />
